The most magical place that feels like Christmas all year round? 10/10 a Christmas tree farm.

I visited this perfect, cute little red barn tree farm/vineyard in Linville Falls, North Carolina last summer and was so disappointed about not posting these photos last Christmas season, I had to post them now that it's already that time again!

If you're looking for a perfectly picture-esque place to visit for holiday photos or even just to feel a little bit of holiday spirit any time of year, this is the spot.

♡

It's crazy to think that another year has already gone by. While the year has been so long and filled with many ups and downs, it still feels as if I blinked and now it's over. Where does the time go?

With everything being different this year from moving, family, and so on, and while Christmas is over now, the feelings still linger, especially when it comes to feelings of hurt, loneliness, and sorrow.

So I just wanted to say, be sensitive to people this season.

It was the first Christmas that my family was split and not a whole anymore - we have been apart in person before, but this time it was a matter of separation in the heart.

It's the first Christmas a girl I knew has no mom to even call and say Merry Christmas to.

It's the first Christmas that a friend has to wonder if her mom will live past treatment.

It's the first Christmas that a family spends in the hospital still recovering from injuries due to a serious accident.

It's the first Christmas that another friend has to balance work, family, and time with her baby.

It's the first Christmas that a family suffers the heartache of their parents' marriage or a family member's health failing.

It's a day that some spend alone and others with people it hurts to even be around.

So be sensitive to people this season.

You never know what others may be going through, and a Christmas of firsts can often feel like the worst.

While the season continues to the new year, make sure to just be kind to others and sympathetic to what they may be going through. It's not always easy, but we all have it in us to be kind to one another.

It's official - I have found the only dress you need this holiday season!

For all of those Christmas parties, family gatherings, and endless calendar of events, this Loop Dress by The Dessy Group has you covered. It's known for being convertible, so not only can it be worn as this bardot off the shoulder style, but it can also be worn 12 other ways!

Everyone knows that I love to put things to the most use and find a variety of ways to wear them, so this is such a big deal for me. It makes it easy to have that go-to dress without being noticed for outfit repeating with all of the ways to wear it. If that wasn't enough, it comes in a long style along with this midi length and 7 different colors. I'm wearing the desert rose shade in midi length!

Another great part about this is that it's under $150, so rather than filling your closet with dresses you may only wear once for that price, you can wear this time and time again all season long for such a deal - which I'm all about too!

♡

I don't know about you, but this year I'm on a major budget, which means I have to use what I have and wear things different ways for the holiday season. So this dress couldn't have come at a better time. If you're in the same boat - first of all, I hope you know everything will be alright. Life is hard sometimes, it gets expensive, and we don't always know how to work it. But it will get better. And second of all, if you're looking for just that one staple piece for the season, you've found it here! So now there's one less thing to worry about, because this dress has you covered all season long. ♡

And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to His purpose.
Romans 8:28

“Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing?
Matthew 6:25

Well y'all, turkey day is just a day away, and if you're anything like me then there's a chance you still don't know what to wear yet!

No need to worry though, because I teamed up with The Fashion Spot boutique to share the perfect Thanksgiving outfits for y’all!

Not only are these trendy and cute but also so comfy (and don’t forget stretchy for all the turkey and mashed potatoes) while still nice enough to wear whether you’ll be around family, your grandma, significant other, or even your dog. So let’s get started on these Thanksgiving-perfect outfits!

1 - monochromatic stretchy dress + fringe sweater

Perfect colors for fall/beginning of winter! The stretchy dress allows for room to eat, while the fringe sweater adds that cozy statement piece.

2 - fitted sweater + patterned flowy skirt

Love a good flowy skirt! It has a stretchy waist, pretty pattern, and conservative but still chic. Pair with a cheery fall colored sweater for that perfect look!

3 - chic stretchy dress in a fun fall color

You can never go wrong with a trendy dress in a beautiful fall color! This is loose and stretchy in all the right ways and so so great for any occasion, especially a nice Thanksgiving dinner.

4 - knit sweater + trendy high waist pants

The perfect look for those in colder weather! Pair a chunky knit sweater with trendy high waist pants for a chic outfit that’s warm and comfortable.

5 - oversized cozy sweater cardigan + stretchy dress

Ok, everyone needs an oversized sweater cardigan like this! It’s so soft and cozy, like wearing a warm blanket. On my wish list for sure! Wear over a stretchy dress and you’re set for Thanksgiving.

6 - patterned dress + fuzzy coat

This outfit is so cute and different from the normal! Try a patterned dress with a fuzzy coat for a fun, chic look that still keeps ya warm and comfy.

❤

I hope these outfits give y’all some ideas and inspiration on what to wear tomorrow (and through the rest of the season too)! If you’re in the St. Petersburg, FL area, make sure to stop by The Fashion Spot boutique and shop these cute outfits! They have the trendiest selection, perfect for anyone.

Speaking of Thanksgiving, I thought I’d take a minute to talk about something I’m thankful for that God is doing in my life.
These past few months, well honestly this whole year but especially the past few months, have been pretty difficult. It’s been an adjustment to constant change, from the company I worked for shutting down to starting my on styling business and it not working as well as I thought it would, to my dad moving, to figuring out how to do adulting myself, to not being able to find the right job fit yet, to being rejected from what I thought were perfect fits, to being given until March to find a place to move to and start all over, then thrown for a loop again and potentially moving within this next month.

But within all of this change and the ‘downs’ of life, I’ve seen God working and felt Him listening to me. After much talk about how I’ve wanted to connect with local bloggers and meet people who do the same thing as me and also work with brands and boutiques in collaboration, He has really made it happen. He put it on my heart to reach out to boutiques and attend events, and through it all He has led me to meet some great people that I otherwise would have never known, if it wasn’t through His work through me and this blog.

That’s what I’m thankful for this year. What’s one thing that you’re thankful for?
Drop a comment below this post, and let me know your favorite outfit too! ♡
