Spring has come and I am here for it! Not sure if the cold fronts have officially ended yet, but I'll be soaking up the warm weather until it gets dreadfully hot for summer.

Anyhow, is anyone else loving the wrap dress and delicate floral trend right now? This has to be one of my favorite dress styles as of late, so I thought I would share with y'all some of top picks for spring dresses - all under $50 because your girl is on a budget too. Some of these are different styles, including sundresses and sleeve details, but they're all so gorgeous I just wanted to show you all!

You can shop my favorite spring dresses under $50 below. ♡

Lately I have been shopping so much, because that's what I do for a job! I never thought I'd be able to say that, but here I am. And I'm not mad about it haha. It's interesting to see how things happen in life. I've always loved shopping, since I was in elementary school. Not once did I think about having a career doing that. Everyone always pointed me towards the more "practical" things like further education, 9-5 jobs, you know the drill. But pretty soon after graduating high school, I figured out that I didn't want to be stuck in the endless rat race that everyone else seemed to be in.

I wanted to be able to say that I love what I do, whatever that may be. One thing led to another after I started this blog, and the doors that God has opened (and closed to help steer me to the open ones) have led me to what should have been the most obvious dream job.

While I know that this is just a step in my career, it is one that allows me to say that I love what I do and am working towards doing just that as well. I want to help others in finding their style and also their confidence, using this as a ministry to connect with people through fashion and even help lead them to the Lord, the One who has placed me here today. He doesn't do things on accident. And I am seeing so clearly how it's all playing out for the glory of His kingdom, to draw the broken, the lost, the dejected back to Him. ♡

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
Jeremiah 29:11

May the God of peace, who through the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, equip you with everything good for doing His will, and may He work in us what is pleasing to Him, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
Hebrews 13: 20-21

Does anyone else love a good cardigan that can be worn from season to season?! I bought this one a few months ago, so it has been with me throughout winter and now going into spring! A knit cardigan is the perfect tag-along during transitional seasons, as it can keep you nice and cozy but also be placed over your shoulders instead during those warm afternoons.

While I couldn't find this exact sweater for y'all - it's sold out! - I found a few good options that are listed below. You can always get a simple iron-on patch and add it to the shoulder/sleeve to make it more like mine!

When you look up the definition of wearing one's heart on one's sleeve, it comes up as making one's feelings apparent, or sharing them instead of hiding them. I have to say, I'm not the best at this. But at the same time, if you really look, my face pretty much says it all in regards to how I'm feeling. While I may not speak out too much about how I feel, I can still wear my heart on my sleeve.

These past few weeks I have thrown myself into work with my new job and the internships, still looking for that balance between work, the blog, and personal life. I think that one thing I'm a pro at is trying to run from feelings in attempt to block out the difficult ones. So I delve into work and try to help others so that I don't have to face my own emotions - that are usually scattered about for the most part.

If you have followed along or spoken to me personally, you may have noticed that I don't have a significant other in my life nor have I really ever. In the past it was more so because nobody ever really gave me a chance. And I guess you can say that's still sort of the case, but it's different now. For one thing, my standards are higher than ever. I first and foremost want a man that is following whole-heartedly after God. And I refuse to settle for anything less. For another thing, I tend to shy away from feeling anything for anyone. There's this ever present thought of "it's not going to work out" going on in my head, especially since I have seen things fall apart for many people in my life. If the guy isn't pursuing Jesus or has areas in his life that fall short, he just doesn't cut it for me, because I know that it for sure won't work out. After seeing it time and time again, you sorta just know what to look for.

I hope that makes sense at least a little bit. I've tried to wear my heart on my sleeve with this blog, sharing real life with you all. It's not just about the fashion or the pretty pictures, but it's about opening up and making sure that everything is true and held to that standard that I keep this blog as well as my life. I want to stay real with it all and in constant pursuit of Jesus, revealing how much more meaningful life is with Him at the center of it all. ♡

Whoever trusts in his own mind is a fool, but he who walks in wisdom will be delivered.
Proverbs 28:26

The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately sick; who can understand it?
Jeremiah 17:9

'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and will all your mind'; and, 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'
Luke 10:27
