Do you ever find a cute crop top black and not have any clue how to style it? Today I've teamed up with Rosegal to show you how to style a backless crop top along with some of the top things on my wish list at the moment.

Shopping online often proves to be extra challenging, as you don't have the pieces right in front of you physically. That's why I'm here to show you some key ways to style around a top and put together an outfit worthy of a fashion moment!

When styling a top like the one above that already has some detail to it, sometimes the key is less is best. All it takes are some minimal, trendy accessories to step up the look while still allowing the top to be the main component! A chic work-style black bag paired with simple slide-on flats is a great way to go to keep the look casual yet stylish. Balance a vintage-looking hat with a contemporary watch and sunnies for an even more put-together look. And finally, jeans will always be in style - opt for one with detail, like this pair with lace-up sides, for an even greater style factor!

Want to know what's on my summer wish list (and next shopping trip)? Look no further!

It's that time of year again! The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale (aka Blogger Christmas) is in full swing, coming at us with the cuuutest things, yet again. I'm not one to shop at the store all the time - just because my wallet is kept pretty tight these days. But when it comes to the biggest sale of the year, I have to check it out. It's also fun to browse the store sometimes throughout the year, because you never know what deals you may find - like these sunglasses that I can't get enough of. You're sure to have seen them on my Instagram at some point in time!

When it comes to shopping, I always try to keep in mind the products that I am looking for, along with a color scheme - usually white/black/pale pink/rose gold for my style. While it's always fun to go on a shopping spree, the thing about fashion and dressing nice for me is the opportunity to present who I am to others through style and also the chance to share the gospel to those I meet through this industry. All I can say is that I look forward to many more experiences and opportunities in the fabulous world of fashion that God has opened the doors to!

The items in the photo above are some of my absolute favorites from the sale. I seriously can't get enough of that nail set and might just cave in and get it - because marble and rose gold?! Dream combination right there. (Update - can't find the nail set ugh!) There are a few Kate Spade items that I will link below, including that little cell phone bag that's just the cutest thing in one of my favorite color combos. Each of these items are things that I would most definitely keep in my wardrobe or every day use, as they are practical and stylish at the same time!

It's the middle of summer time! You know what that means - unbearable heat, humidity, bugs...maybe that's just Florida. But there's also things to look forward to, including summer whites!

White is so chic for the summer, not only in your outfits but on your teeth!
I've teamed up with Smile Brilliant to let y'all in on my best teeth whitening tips, along with summer styling tips! You may remember this post from earlier in the year when I collaborated with Smile Brilliant. They reached out to me again and I am so happy to put together another post with them!

When I think of summer, I think cut-off denim shorts and sneakers. I've never been much of a flats kind of girl, but it's nice to throw on a pair of Keds during the hot temps when running errands. And shorts are a must for 90+ degree heat waves. Through all the trends, cut-offs will probably continue to stick around forever.

A white long sleeve top isn't typically at the top of every summer list, but hear me out. Sure it's hot outside but with the air conditioning inside every store, house, or building of any sort, I quickly get cold as soon as I walk in anywhere. So it's nice to have on a lightweight long sleeve that I can roll the sleeves up and won't even be too hot outside. If you prefer to go lighter layered on top, you can interchange it with a white tank top or cami. Whichever way you go with your top, it always comes in handy to bring along a light jacket - for the air conditioned buildings or sudden rainstorms - and a large statement back to carry every one of your summer essentials!

Don't forget to bring along a smile as well, which you can make as white as your shirt with the help of Smile Brilliant! If you have any questions or concerns, read this article on what to know before buying. This will always be my go-to whitening product, because it not only works well and quickly but doesn't damage or hurt your teeth at all. If you're thinking at all about going for it, I say jump right in!

The white topic always reminds me of how our inner selves are whitened, or cleansed, as well from the filth and wrongs inside of each of us, that rots us from the inside out if we don't fully accept healing for it all. Our loving Savior came down to do just that and give us a way to be free and whitened from our past, present, and future mistakes. I hope you take the moment to whiten up each part of your life, from the outside in. ♡

*I recently received this Maybelline #SuperStayMatteInk box in the mail, complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes, but my opinions are all my own!*

Y'all, this lipstick is so legit. I can honestly say that it is everything it says it is. It goes on easy and actually stays on. No transfer, so you can eat and drink without worries. No need to reapply throughout the day. Super pigmented, as you can see in the photos above, and dries matte for an extra glam look. It only runs at $8-$10 at stores like Target. This is seriously the best lipstick that I have tried, and I'll definitely be at the store soon to pick up some of the other shades!

I hope you all have/had a great Fourth of July! This post was meant to go up earlier for outfit inspo, but as usual life got a bit busy, so here it is just in time for the Fourth! Look below for three of my Fourth of July looks!
Because I took these looks a different way than the typical red white and blue, they're still great for the rest of summer, in case you need some outfit ideas for modern day style mixed with a bit of old fashioned, retro glam. When I received this box of lipsticks, I knew I had to do a Fourth of July outfit with the red, but after trying on the pink shade I wanted to take these outfits in another direction. Millennial pink is the thing. And I am so glad it is. Those of us in our 20s/30s just can't get enough of this girly statement shade. Adding it to a look of minimal color makes an outfit really pop!

What do you think about when you think Independence Day? Is it red white and blue outfits/decor? Burgers and hot dogs on the grill? Or is it maybe what the day is all about - freedom? Freedom is defined as "the power or right to act, speak, or think as one wants without hindrance or restraint" and "the state of not being imprisoned or enslaved." Everyone in America is free, in all thanks to those who serve and risk their lives for us. There's also a freedom aside from just that which is physical. It's the freedom we receive when we accept Jesus into our hearts and lives. It means that we are no longer bound by this world or the things of it. The sin, the guilt, the evil. When we choose God, our souls are set free in Him.

Thankful for this day that offers the opportunity to reflect on the freedom that I have been bestowed by those who fight for it and Jesus who laid his life down for me. 💗
